A weekend passed by quickly, and Su Rou went back to her school days where she was always late.
At half past eight on Monday morning, a pouting girl came downstairs from the second floor. She sat at the dining table, let out a sigh, and picked up a piece of toast glumly to take a bite. Su Yuze looked at her. "What's wrong? Who made you unhappy?"
"It's me."
"..." It was quite rare that she managed to make herself unhappy. "What happened?"
Su Rou sighed again. "Why am I always late for school?"
She asked quite seriously, but it sounded rather comical. A faint smile played on Su Yuze's lips as he replied helplessly, "Well, asking me won't help." The habit of sleeping in had been with her since childhood.
Su Rou frowned, looking even more unhappy. She chewed the toast in her mouth resentfully. "It's your fault!"
"How is it my fault?" Su Yuze looked rather innocent. He felt wronged for taking this blame.
"You never wake me up!" Su Rou said angrily.
"..."
So it was his fault after all. Su Yuze shrugged, accepting Su Rou's blame. It was her usual morning grumpiness, and he was used to it. Let her vent it out, and she'd surely forget all about it after breakfast!
That was just Su Rou. When she was unhappy, just leave her alone. She'd come back clinging to you after a while.
After breakfast, Su Rou shook off her previous gloom and low spirits. A familiar smile reappeared on her lips. She packed her little schoolbag, entertained herself by playing with her fingers, and from time to time, looked up at Su Yuze to see if he was ready.
Su Yuze put down his coffee cup, stood up, and called to Su Rou. "Xiaorou'er, let's go."
"Okay."
Su Rou slung her little schoolbag over her shoulder and skipped over cheerfully. She wrapped her arm around Su Yuze's and had a look on her face that seemed to say 'So what if I'm late?'. Su Yuze couldn't help but smile even more. He ruffled her fluffy hair affectionately. See? She'd get over her bad mood quickly.
Su Rou's foot injury had long since healed, but Su Yuze still worried that it might recur. After the car pulled up at the school gate, he told her, "Xiaorou'er, walk slowly. Don't run or jump."
"Okay." Su Rou stood daintily outside the car and waved to the handsome man inside. "Goodbye, Brother Ze."
"Goodbye."
Su Rou walked slowly into the classroom through the back door. The teachers for the first class were different every day, but they all knew Su Rou well. None of them dared to scold her. They would even open the back door before Su Rou came to class so that she didn't have to call out before entering.
When Su Rou walked into the classroom through the back door openly, a male student in the back row couldn't help but cast an envious look at her. How great! She could sleep until she woke up naturally every day and didn't have to be afraid of the teacher's scolding even if she was late!

"Hey? Tiantian, why are you here?" Su Rou was the first to notice Ling Tiantian. She looked at her in surprise.
Ling Tiantian walked in and looked at Su Rou shyly. "I'm here to borrow your notes."
"For today? I was late for two classes this morning, so I don't have the notes for those two classes." Su Rou said.
Ling Tiantian's mouth twitched twice. "You were late again?"
"Yeah." It had become a habit.
"Okay, then just borrow the notes from the last class." Ling Tiantian said.
"Sure, okay." Su Rou replied obediently.
Xiao Yun and Yu Fei just stared at Ling Tiantian. Their looks seemed to be sizing her up, making Ling Tiantian feel even more uncomfortable. She looked up at them. "What's wrong? Don't you recognize me? Why are you looking at me like that?" Ling Tiantian asked with a smile.
Xiao Yun and Yu Fei glanced at each other and then said, "Tiantian, have you been getting really close to Su Meimei lately?"
Ling Tiantian didn't like this tone. "What's wrong with Meimei?" Su Meimei was really nice. She would talk to Ling Tiantian during the breaks. She didn't have any airs of a rich girl. She knew about Ling Tiantian's family situation and would even lend her money voluntarily without asking for it back. Ling Tiantian had already regarded Su Meimei as her friend. Hearing Xiao Yun and Yu Fei ask like this, she was also a bit unhappy.
"Meimei?" Xiao Yun sneered. "It seems your relationship is really good. You've even changed the way you address her... What's wrong with your taste? You're willing to be friends with such a slutty woman?" Xiao Yun was just speaking her mind. Every time she saw Su Meimei, that was the only word that came to mind to describe her.
Ling Tiantian frowned even deeper. "I think Meimei is really nice..." Su Rou had already taken out her notebook. Ling Tiantian snatched it. "Thanks." After she stiffly said thank you, she walked out of the class.
"Why did you have to upset Tiantian?" Su Rou didn't understand.
"Humph, Ling Tiantian has betrayed us. Rourou, don't hang out with her anymore." Xiao Yun said with a look of disgust. Yu Fei nodded in agreement.
"Is it really that serious?"
Ling Tiantian had just made friends with Su Meimei. It shouldn't be that serious, right!
