Chapter 276: The Arrogant Dean

Su Yuze took Su Rou around the areas near Washington, allowing her to experience the cultural differences in different regions. This cheered Su Rou up a great deal. Previously, the sight of Yu Fei had left her feeling gloomy and sad.

Seeing Su Rou's genuine smile put Su Yuze at ease. After all, Yu Fei's incident had dealt a heavy blow to her. In fact, Su Rou had always thought that it was her fault that Yu Fei had suffered.

"Brother Ze, your phone seems to have vibrated," Su Rou said as she was holding onto Su Yuze's arm. She seemed to feel the phone in his pocket vibrating a few times.

"Yeah, it's just a text message. It's okay," Su Yuze shook his head and continued to show her around.

That night, after Su Rou got tired from playing and went to the bathroom to take a shower, Su Yuze took out his phone. The vibration during the day was not a text message but an email. Was it from his second uncle again?

He clicked it open and was surprised to find that it was from his eldest uncle. The email read: Yuze, you promised me that you wouldn't return to China. If you insist on coming back, don't blame your eldest uncle for what will happen to your Shengshi Group.

It was a blatant threat!

Although he didn't know what had happened in City T that made his eldest uncle so wary of him—first his second uncle, now his eldest uncle. Had the hidden rivalry between them escalated? It seemed this email address couldn't be used anymore!

...

Su Rou and Su Yuze played for more than ten days before reluctantly returning to Washington. After a day of rest, Su Yuze went back to work at the company. When Ian saw him, he was on the verge of crying. "I thought you'd only be gone for a week at most!" Who would have thought they'd be away for over ten days!

He was still an injured person, for goodness' sake!

"What? Do you have a problem?" Su Yuze raised an eyebrow and asked.

Feeling the cold aura emanating from Su Yuze, Ian felt a bit nervous. He quickly shook his head and waved his hands. "No problem, no problem."

"Someone has been trying to hack into the company's network system recently," Su Yuze said.

"Huh? How did you know, President?" Ian was very surprised. They had only discovered this a few days ago. But since the hacker didn't break into the company's system or steal anything, they had just strengthened the firewall and didn't make a fuss about it. He wondered how the president knew.

Well, of course he knew! They were trying to investigate his information. "I don't want this to happen again," Su Yuze said.

"Yes, sir."

Su Yuze turned on his computer. Since his email was bound to the computer, as soon as it was turned on, more than a dozen emails popped up. Some were from Su Yue and some were from Su Kaiming. Su Yuze frowned slightly. Without even looking, he deleted all the emails and then unbound the email from the computer.

When had he, Su Yuze, ever needed others to tell him what to do?

Su Rou also went back to school. Jiang Ling seemed to have gotten used to Su Rou's absences of ten days or half a month. This time, he didn't even ask what had happened. It was obvious to anyone that Su Rou seemed quite happy. Since it was something that made her happy, he didn't need to ask.

After all... it was easy to guess that her happiness must be related to her boyfriend, right?

"Xiaorou, I have an important class this afternoon, so I won't be able to accompany you," Jiang Ling said. Since most of the semester had passed, Jiang Ling's business administration department was going to start assessing the students' learning outcomes. The classes in the afternoon these days were all very important.

"Okay, go ahead."

Su Rou planned to buy some cakes for lunch. But as soon as she stepped out of the classroom, a tall boy walked up beside her. He was like a mountain, completely blocking one side of Su Rou and casting a shadow.

"Um, Dean?" Su Rou looked up. Since she hadn't seen Dean for more than half a month, he seemed a bit strange to her.

"You still remember me," Dean showed a big smile, revealing his white teeth. He looked very sunny and handsome. "Why haven't you been coming to school these days?"

"I don't think it has anything to do with you," Su Rou said indifferently.

Dean walked side by side with her. "I'm just asking casually."

"I think you should know that I have a boyfriend," Su Rou emphasized the word "boyfriend" on purpose, hoping that he could face the reality. If he really had feelings for her, it would be better to nip them in the bud.

Hearing Su Rou mention her boyfriend, a look of disdain flashed across Dean's eyes. "Your boyfriend is that yellow - skinned guy named Jiang Ling, right?"

"No..." Su Rou frowned. Why did everyone think she and Jiang Ling were a couple?

But Dean seemed not to hear what she said. "I really don't understand what's so good about your Asian men. Not only are they timid, but they also like to act."

Dean's words were very harsh. There was obvious disdain for Asians in his words, which made Su Rou find it rather funny. "Since you think Asians are so bad, why are you even talking to me? Save your noble mouth to charm your fellow countrymen."

"I just can't stand Asian men. But you're different... I think you're the purest Asian I've ever seen. I really want to be friends with you," Dean said with a smile, showing his white teeth again.

Dean's words sounded sincere, but to Su Rou, they were completely fake! "I don't like your Western men either."

"Why?" Dean always thought he was handsome, rich, and well - educated. There were many girls in this school who liked him. Why wasn't he liked at all by Su Rou?

"Arrogant, self - centered, racist... and most importantly, you have too much body hair," Su Rou said slowly, with her soft and waxy voice. Even when she was scolding, it still sounded pleasant.

Did Dean think everyone should cater to him? Why?

At first, Dean enjoyed listening to Su Rou's voice. But when he came to his senses and realized what she had said, he looked up and saw that Su Rou had already walked into the cake shop.

"Su Rou..." Dean murmured her name softly. A hint of darkness flashed across his eyes, along with a touch of cold arrogance. He had actually been looked down upon by an Asian little woman!

He was arrogant and self - centered, but he had the capital! He was indeed a racist because he just looked down on Asians. As for the body hair... he looked at his arm. There did seem to be a bit too much. Well, he admitted this one.

But only he could look down on Asians. He would never allow an Asian to look down on him!
