Song Ge spent a great deal of effort searching for information on the computer but couldn't find what she wanted. She felt rather frustrated.
Logically speaking, a company of this size must have a warehouse for storing old documents. So, if she went to the warehouse, she might just find what she was looking for, right?
Having made up her mind, Song Ge briefly greeted Zhai Cheng and then headed straight for the warehouse.
Upon entering the warehouse, Song Ge couldn't help but gasp in amazement. Sure enough, it was a big company. The amount of information here was almost comparable to a small library.
Tall bookshelves came into view, neatly filled with documents, which made Song Ge feel dizzy.
Since she had decided to search here, she didn't waste any time. She walked through the bookshelves alone.
To make sure she didn't miss any possibilities, she searched very carefully, leaving no place unchecked.
In the office.
"Go to the archive room and help Song Ge," Zhai Cheng looked up and called out to his assistant who had just come in to deliver coffee.
The assistant was stunned for a moment but quickly recovered. She nodded and said, "Okay, I'll go and check."
On the way to the archive room, the little assistant kept muttering to herself. Why did she always feel that the boss was treating this Song Ge differently?
"Watch out!" The little assistant rushed up behind Song Ge in a hurry, looking panicked.
Song Ge looked back suspiciously and found that the assistant was struggling to hold a bookshelf. Her face looked rather pale, and the bookshelf was tottering. If the assistant hadn't been quick - eyed and quick - handed to catch it, it might have fallen on Song Ge by now.
Without much thought, Song Ge quickly ran over and helped her push the bookshelf back to its original position.
Looking at the bookshelf that was over a meter tall, Song Ge felt a chill run down her spine. If the assistant hadn't come, she might not have escaped this time.
"Thank you," Song Ge said gratefully, her face also looking a bit pale.
She didn't think she had touched the bookshelf much. She had just held it firmly when she was getting a book earlier. She didn't expect it to almost fall over.
Seeing her expression, the assistant explained with a smile, "These bookshelves are quite old. Some of them aren't very sturdy, so it's easy for this kind of thing to happen if you're not careful."
"Why don't you replace them? It's so dangerous," Song Ge asked doubtfully, still feeling a bit scared.
"We've already made preparations. The new ones will arrive in a few days," the assistant replied with a smile, giving her a reassuring look as if to say, "Don't worry. It won't fall on you next time."
Song Ge smiled sheepishly and pointed to the books beside her. "I'll go over there to find some information. We can talk later."
After saying that, she didn't stay any longer and walked through the bookshelves again.
"I'll help you. There's so much information here. It'll take you ages to find it all by yourself," the assistant said cheerfully as she walked up to her.
Looking around the entire archive room, she simply divided it into two halves. She and Song Ge would each take one half.
Song Ge subconsciously wanted to decline, but then she thought that she didn't have much time left for this information, so she didn't refuse and gladly accepted her help.
The two of them spent several hours in the archive room and finally found quite a lot of relevant information.
Coming out of the archive room contentedly, Song Ge kept thanking the little assistant. The little assistant looked at her meaningfully but didn't say much. She just urged her to go and write the planning document.
Sure enough, having the past information was really useful. Song Ge first studied the information carefully and then more or less sorted out the key points for the planning.
She was so focused on organizing the documents that before she knew it, it was already midnight. When Song Ge dragged her tired body back to the villa, she was so sleepy that she could hardly keep her eyes open.
After getting back to the villa, she didn't even have dinner. She went straight to her room and fell asleep.
Early the next morning.
Song Ge was still having a wonderful dream when a sudden, urgent knock on the door pulled her out of it.
"Who is it?" Song Ge could hardly open her eyes. She half - opened the door.
"Did you rob a bank last night?" Zhai Cheng was startled when he saw the suddenly - appearing head and her thick dark circles under the eyes.
"You're the one who robbed a bank," Song Ge didn't expect Zhai Cheng to be standing at the door. She was also startled. She took a few steps back instinctively and then slammed the door shut.
Zhai Cheng's face darkened a bit. He said casually, "Don't go to the company looking like this. You'll scare others."
Although he said so, Song Ge with dark circles under her eyes still ended up in Zhai Cheng's sports car.
Wanting to finish the planning document as soon as possible, Song Ge had been working overtime since she took on this task and didn't dare to waste a single moment.
Finally, after four busy days, her planning document was perfectly completed.
"I still feel it's not perfect enough," Song Ge stood beside Zhai Cheng at the board meeting and whispered.
She nervously clenched her hands, and a thin layer of sweat had already formed in her palms.
The directors hadn't arrived yet, but she was still extremely nervous. After all, this planning document was going to be presented to the highly - experienced directors.
Zhai Cheng didn't even lift his head. His eyes scanned through her planning document. After roughly going through it, he looked up and gave her a half - smiling look. "What? Are you scared now? You can choose to take this planning document back."
"Not at all," Song Ge blurted out. She frowned and looked into his eyes. "I worked so hard on this. How can I back down at the last step?"
Zhai Cheng let out a soft laugh and gave her a look as if to say, "You're teachable."
This planning document was really the result of her four - day hard work. When Zhai Cheng looked up just now, he could clearly see her dark circles under the eyes.
Thanks to Zhai Cheng's words, Song Ge wasn't as nervous as before, until all the shareholders took their seats.
"This is the planning document for the project you mentioned a few days ago. See if you have any comments," Zhai Cheng got straight to the point. He simply placed the planning document on the office desk without any extra explanation.
The directors were surprised to see the thick planning document. How could it be completed so quickly? They had all thought it would take a few more days.
After the initial surprise, they carefully studied the planning document and had discussions from time to time.
Song Ge secretly observed their expressions to judge what the directors thought of her work.
About ten minutes later, the directors suddenly fell silent.
Song Ge nervously pricked up her ears to listen.
"We've discussed it. This planning document is highly feasible and in line with the current trend. If the conditions are right, I think it will work well," an older director was still reluctant to put down the planning document. He excitedly expressed his opinion.
The others all nodded in agreement.
The heart that had been in her throat finally dropped. Song Ge was so excited that she almost jumped up.
They had approved her planning document!
