Song Ge stared at Ji Qingzhen in astonishment. Brother? What did that mean?
The look on his face just now was indeed a bit different from Ji Qingzhen's usual self.
"What do you mean by that?"
Ji Qingzhen suddenly let go of Song Ge's hand and smiled like an amiable big brother next door. "Sorry, did I say something wrong just now?"
Song Ge was also completely confused. "What did you mean by what you said just now?"

Song Ge was suspicious. He didn't remember what he said but knew he had said something wrong? How could that make sense?

Leng Jing smiled and looked at Song Ge. "She hasn't agreed to marry you yet."
"Isn't that just a matter of time?" Zhai Cheng said confidently.
The group chatted for a while. When it was almost time, Zhai Cheng took Song Ge and left.
In the car, Song Ge asked Zhai Cheng, "What did Leng Jing talk to you about alone today?"
Zhai Cheng didn't hide anything. "Leng Jing said she's pregnant."
"What?" Song Ge was even more excited than when Zhai Cheng first found out.
If there was a baby, what would happen to the child if something went wrong in the future? The child was innocent.
"Why are you more surprised than me?"
Song Ge smiled to cover up her surprise. "It's nothing. Did she say anything else besides that?"
Zhai Cheng shook his head. "She didn't say anything else."
After that, neither of them said a word, and the car was filled with silence.
Song Ge didn't have time to think about other things because their engagement ceremony was approaching. Mother An had been dragging her around to make arrangements, leaving her with no free time at all.
It wasn't until the night before the engagement ceremony that Song Ge finally had some free time.
Zhai Cheng was still busy with other things and hadn't come home yet.
Song Ge thought about preparing a dinner for him and waiting for him to come back, so she had been busy in the kitchen. Aunt Chen had also helped a lot.
Zhai Cheng entered the hall, took off his coat, smelled the delicious aroma, and walked into the kitchen. He saw Song Ge's busy figure and quietly walked in.

Zhai Cheng hugged Song Ge from behind. Song Ge was startled. When she saw it was Zhai Cheng, she let out a sigh of relief. "When did you come back?"
"Just now." Zhai Cheng glanced at the pot. "Are you in such a good mood today?"
"Yeah." Song Ge turned around and said seriously, "I think we must cherish the one in front of us, because you never know which will come first, an accident or tomorrow."
Zhai Cheng nodded in agreement. "Your little brain has finally had an epiphany. Don't say anything about leaving me in the future."
"Got it." Song Ge turned around and continued cooking. Then she pushed Zhai Cheng out. "Just wait to eat."
About half an hour later, three dishes and a soup were on the table. They all looked quite appetizing.
Under Song Ge's expectant gaze, Zhai Cheng took a bite and commented, "Not bad."
"Then eat more." Song Ge served Zhai Cheng some food. The two of them happily finished their dinner.
Since they knew it was their engagement ceremony the next day, Song Ge and Zhai Cheng both went to bed early.
The next day, Song Ge and Zhai Cheng got up early. Song Ge went to get her makeup done, while Zhai Cheng went to take care of things at the hotel.
Song Ge finished her makeup and was waiting in the room.
Suddenly, someone pushed the door open. It was Wu Yilan.
Wu Yilan looked at Song Ge's appearance and was extremely envious. "When will I be able to wear a wedding dress and marry the man I love?"

"If Zhai Cheng ever bullies you, just tell me. I'll take care of him."

Wu Yilan immediately backed down. "It seems I really can't."
The two were chatting when Mother An came in from outside. Wu Yilan left tactfully.
Mother An looked at Song Ge in the mirror and tears welled up in her eyes. "In a blink of an eye, you're about to get married."
"Mom, I'm not leaving for good."
Mother An wiped away her tears and smiled. "You've found someone you truly love. Mom should be happy, really happy."
Song Ge also felt like crying, but thinking about her makeup, she held it back. "Mom, don't worry. I'll be happy. I'll always be your daughter."
"Don't cry. You'll ruin your makeup." Mother An comforted Song Ge.
At noon, the engagement ceremony was successfully held.
A lot of people came, including Zhai Cheng's relatives, many business associates, and Song Ge's relatives. There were so many people that it was a sea of humanity.
Witnessed by everyone, Song Ge and Zhai Cheng completed the engagement ceremony.
The two went to toast together.
Song Ge only drank some drinks, and Zhai Cheng drank most of the alcohol.
After toasting table by table, there was only one table left.
When Song Ge saw Ji Qingzhen, she felt a strange feeling in her heart and remembered Ji Qingzhen's strange words before.
Leng Jing toasted generously. "Congratulations, Uncle. I hope you two can get married soon and have a little baby."
