"There's power." Huo Cheng took out his phone from his clothes and pressed the button. Sure enough, it turned on.
After making a distress call, Gu Sisi finally felt at ease when she knew the rescuers would arrive soon.
"Your hand is injured?"
"It's okay. Just a minor scratch." Huo Cheng looked at his hand. He had accidentally scraped it when catching her just now. In such cold weather, the wound had already coagulated.
"Let me have a look." Gu Sisi held his hand gently. "Does it hurt? I wonder when the rescuers will come."
Wearing thick ski suits made it inconvenient to move, and there were no medical supplies to bandage the wound here. They could only bear it for the time being.
"I'm fine." Huo Cheng grabbed her hand. "Don't worry. The rescue will be quick."
Only then did Gu Sisi calm down, not noticing the secret smile in the eyes of the person beside her.
The ski resort on the mountain had a professional rescue team. After figuring out their location, they quickly rushed over with rescue ladders and ropes, and escorted them down the mountain and back to the hotel all the way.
On the way, Huo Cheng's wound was bandaged. Gu Sisi was still worried. "Does it still hurt?"
"No." Huo Cheng smiled and murmured to himself, "It's a pity the rabbit is gone."
Gu Sisi was speechless. He was still thinking about the rabbit at this moment. It seemed that his injury was indeed not serious.
Back in the hotel room, Gu Sisi carefully helped Huo Cheng take off his ski suit and lifted his clothes to check the wound.
"I'm okay. You go take a shower first."
"No way!" Gu Sisi insisted on lifting his clothes. She saw that a patch of skin had turned blue - purple. "You're hurt like this and still say it's not serious!"
"It's just a bruise. It's no big deal." He had suffered much more serious injuries. This little wound was nothing.
"I'll go buy some medicated wine for bruises and rub it on you."
She was about to get up and walk out when Huo Cheng grabbed her and said with a smile, "This is Switzerland, not China. Where can you find medicated wine for bruises?"
Right.
It was already night by the time she applied the external medicine on Huo Cheng.
The hotel restaurant sent in steaks, set the tableware, opened the red wine and poured it into the glasses. "Please enjoy your meal, sir and madam. Call us anytime if you need anything."
"Thank you."
After the waiter left, the two started having dinner.
Gu Sisi suddenly asked, "When you fell into the hole, did you ever think about what would happen if I hadn't found you?"
Huo Cheng shrugged. "Freeze to death."
"And then?" He said it so casually, as if he could come back to life the next day even if he froze to death.
"So now you're my savior. I've decided to marry you to repay you!"
Gu Sisi curled her lips. After a few glasses of wine, her face turned rosy. "I'm not joking with you."
"Neither am I." Huo Cheng looked at Gu Sisi with a smile in his eyes. He hooked the corner of his mouth, looked behind him and clapped his hands.
Several high - nosed men in tailcoats walked in, playing the violins. The sound of the violins was melodious, and the restless heart that had been beating wildly calmed down.
The elegant piano music was soothing and peaceful. Gu Sisi looked up. "So romantic?"
Huo Cheng snorted proudly and clapped his hands again. A waiter came up with a plate. He seemed to be of Chinese descent.
"Ms. Gu, this is a gift prepared by Mr. Huo for you."
Looking at the waiter putting it down, Gu Sisi was very surprised. "What gift?"
She looked at Huo Cheng uncertainly. After getting an affirmative answer, she lifted the cover. A cake came into view, inlaid with strawberries, blueberries and chocolate.
Gu Sisi was stunned for a few seconds. "Is it your birthday today?"
Huo Cheng shook his head. Gu Sisi was stunned again. "But it's not my birthday either!" What was the cake for?
"Today is a day I want to remember."
"Uh, okay."
Outside the balcony, the sky had completely darkened, and the stars dotted the sky.
Huo Cheng stared out of the window. "This is the place where the most shooting stars appear in the world."
"Really?" Gu Sisi was very surprised. She looked out of the window, and sure enough, a shooting star streaked across the sky.
She clasped her hands together, closed her eyes very piously. "Quick, make a wish!"
Huo Cheng watched her quietly. When she opened her eyes, he asked, "If you make a wish on a shooting star, will the wish come true?"
"Of course. Every shooting star is a passing life. It's very effective."
"If it's true," Huo Cheng reached out to hold her face and kissed her lips for a few seconds, then stopped. "You'll fall in love with me, right?"
It was like fireworks going off in Gu Sisi's mind. After the emptiness, her face turned red. She curled her lips and said, "Did you make a wish?"
"Who says you have to close your eyes to make a wish?" Huo Cheng kissed her lips again, and the kiss gradually deepened.
