"Brother Huo, is it true that you're engaged back in the country?" Wen Meiling puffed out her cheeks and stared at him with wide eyes.
Huo Cheng didn't try to hide it. He nodded. "It's true."
Hearing this, Wen Meiling panicked.
"Brother Huo, there was no news about this before. Did you deliberately find someone just to shut your parents up?" Wen Meiling's heart skipped a beat as she put forward what she thought was the most reasonable "answer".
Brother Huo must be trying to deceive others. She had never heard of him liking anyone. How could he suddenly get engaged? Although it came out of the blue, there was still a glimmer of hope - this whole thing seemed so unrealistic.
Huo Cheng let out a heartfelt laugh, which left Wen Meiling stunned.

"Is this yours?" Gu Sisi asked as she came back from the restaurant, holding a bag.
Without even looking, Wen Meiling took it absent - mindedly and didn't say a word. She walked away dejectedly.
The two of them walked slowly on the street.
"So when are we going back?" Gu Sisi crossed her arms and looked at the ground. The streets in Switzerland were so clean that she couldn't even find a stone, so she just kicked at the air.
