Gu Sisi naturally knew who the woman in front of her was talking about.
Moreover, the faint small scars on her arm constantly reminded her of what had happened.
After living with Huo Cheng, life was never as calm as it seemed on the surface.
But she had accepted it.
"What do you want to say?" Gu Sisi frowned, puzzled. Did this woman want to sow discord between her and Huo Cheng?
Seeing that Gu Sisi didn't follow her train of thought, the woman snorted coldly. Her little finger tapped gently in the air. Just for a moment, there was a seductive look in her eyes again.
"Aren't you curious why I kidnapped you?"
Gu Sisi closed her eyes, unmoved. "Not curious."
The woman hugged her arms curiously, hooked the corner of her mouth and stood in front of Gu Sisi, sizing her up.
It was the first time she had met such an interesting person. It was just a pity about her identity...
"Miss." A person rushed in in a hurry.
Gu Sisi's ears twitched. The person whispered something. Then the woman in front of her left in her high heels.
The sound gradually faded away. She suddenly opened her eyes.
There were only two people guarding her in the room. One was holding her, and the other was standing guard at the door.
Gu Sisi didn't know how long the woman would be gone. After waiting for a few minutes and seeing that she still hadn't come back,
she blushed.
In the empty room, a voice suddenly came out.
"Um... Can you let me go for a moment?"
Her words were full of shyness.
The person standing guard at the door walked in with his arms folded. A pair of shrewd eyes sized her up and down.
After a long while, he finally asked, "What for?"
"I want to go to the toilet." As she said that, Gu Sisi lowered her head, but the blush on her cheeks and the pink on her neck still revealed her embarrassment.
The man in front of her gave a look to the person behind her, tilted his head and said softly, "Let's go."
The person behind her nodded.
But Gu Sisi still kept her head down. The man coughed lightly to remind her to look up.
Seeing Gu Sisi looking at him blankly, the man said, "Okay."
Then he stood aside with his hands behind his back. When Gu Sisi stood up, the man behind her followed her, but the other person stayed in the room and didn't come out.
Gu Sisi quietly glanced back, confirmed the situation and heaved a sigh of relief.
"This way." The man behind her pointed in another direction in a bad tone.
Gu Sisi lowered her head and nodded slightly.
The man didn't say anything else.
In another room.
"Did he take action? Are you sure?"
"Yes, it's the latest news." This was the person who had come in to report the news when Gu Sisi had her head down.
He was standing respectfully with his head down beside the woman.
The woman changed from her charming look just now to a serious one. She looked out of the window, squinting her eyes.
"He's much faster than I thought."
"What should we do next, Miss?" The man lowered his head, looking solemn.
"What do you think?" The woman sat down with her legs crossed. She seemed much calmer now. The smile on the corner of her mouth deepened, but it didn't reach her eyes.
The man pondered for a long time before hesitantly asking, "Do you mean that we should strike first?" As he said that, he made a slitting - throat gesture.
The woman shook her head and stared blankly at the ground. "It's okay..."
But before she could finish her sentence, there came the sound of running footsteps. It sounded very urgent. The two of them looked towards the door.
A person ran to the woman's ear and whispered something.
"Should we send someone now...?"
"No." The woman interrupted her. Her previously misty eyes cleared up and sparkled with energy. "Make a new plan."
Then she whispered something in the ear of the person who had come. After a while, the person nodded.
"Yes, Miss."
The person left in a hurry just like he had come, disappearing without a trace.
"Miss, what's this?" The man in front of her looked towards the door, full of confusion.
"It's just a new plan..." The woman leisurely drank a cup of tea, as if she was at home, feeling comfortable.
Seeing that the woman didn't say much, the man didn't ask any more questions and just stood aside waiting.
Gu Sisi stayed in the toilet, struggling for a long time.
The man guarding her was right outside. This was her only chance. She took a deep breath and looked at the only window in the toilet. It was very high and very narrow.
This was an old - style building and looked very dilapidated.
Gu Sisi silently complained in her heart. Why did these people all like such places? And it was covered with dust. It seemed that the people guarding here weren't very familiar with the terrain either.
All these gave Gu Sisi more courage to escape.
She couldn't let these people control her and always be in a passive position.
She gritted her teeth and climbed onto a wall built beside the toilet. She supported herself on it with both hands and exerted all her strength in her arms to lie on the wall, but her feet still hadn't made it up.
She gritted her teeth, took a short rest and looked at the window. She put her feet up, clenched her teeth and slowly moved up. Suddenly, a sharp pain shot through her hand. The cement rubbed against Gu Sisi's fragile palm and blood oozed out.
Gu Sisi's face was full of pain. She didn't dare to scream. She tried to adjust her breathing, biting her lips which immediately turned pale, and continued to exert herself.
"Where is she? Why isn't she coming out yet!" The voice outside sounded impatient. The voice even got louder and it seemed that the person was getting closer.
Gu Sisi was just holding on to the brick on the lower edge of the window with one hand, standing on tiptoe and looking out to estimate the height.
Hearing this, she immediately squatted down and said in a low voice with a hint of pain, "Wait a minute. Slowly."
"Hurry up!" The man's voice was still impatient, but the footsteps walked away.
Gu Sisi heaved a sigh of relief and immediately accelerated. The longer the time, the more dangerous it would be.
When half of Gu Sisi's body had made it through,
there came a sound of footsteps outside.
Gu Sisi stared wide - eyed, full of panic, and didn't dare to move.
"What are you doing here?" The voice outside came into Gu Sisi's ears.
The two of them seemed to be chatting. One of them sighed, "Waiting for the person to come out!"
"That woman?" There was a teasing tone in the voice.
"Yeah, who else could it be?"
"It's not necessarily!"
Then the person waiting for her sounded a bit impatient. "Okay, okay. What are you doing here? Go away, go away!"
He was driving the other person away. Gu Sisi pricked up her ears. Her heart was in her throat as she waited for the other person's reply.
"I'm leaving right away! Can I stand here all the time?" The person's tone changed. He hissed, "But then again, this woman is quite pitiful."
"What?" The listener became interested.
Gu Sisi stumbled and ran on the unfamiliar road. She ran out from a grove of trees. She didn't dare to look back or relax, for fear that the people behind would catch up.
Her mind was full of their conversation just now.
"Do you think this woman was forced at gunpoint?"
