Chapter 54: What a Strange Guy

Su Xiaoliu widened her almond eyes. As if all her strength had been drained away, her two hands suddenly slipped from his waist.

A pleasant fragrance lingered around her nose. Those terrifyingly black eyes were quietly looking at her. His casually-draped inky hair was entangled with hers. He gradually deepened the kiss, and Su Xiaoliu felt her mind go blank...

The night was charming, and the candlelight was dim. It was so quiet that only her breathing could be heard.

A faint fragrance spread in her mouth. His high nose gently rubbed against the tip of her nose. I don't know how long it had passed when those black eyes suddenly dimmed a bit. Then, his long eyelashes drooped and he closed his eyes. Right in front of Su Xiaoliu's stunned gaze, he fainted straight away...

Su Xiaoliu was so shocked that she didn't care about anything else. She shouted at the top of her voice, "Come quickly! Help!"

Dark clouds covered the moon, and the wet flowers were just in bloom.

The narrow room was crowded with people. Chu Weixin, wearing a light cyan silk dress, put down the needle.

Gu Rongxue was lying quietly on the bed with his eyes closed. A trace of color had returned to his extremely beautiful face. Everyone in the room heaved a sigh of relief.

Chu Weixin straightened up. A strange look flashed in his beautiful eyes. He said, "The porcelain piece didn't hit any vital parts. Mr. Rongxue fainted because of suffocation." As he said this, his eyes would glance at Su Xiaoliu from time to time.

Su Xiaoliu blushed and didn't dare to raise her head. She didn't even suffocate. Why did he? He was really too fragile...

"It's good that he's okay. Everyone, go back and rest quickly." Zhong Fengyue glanced at Su Xiaoliu, smiled faintly, then stood up and said to everyone with a smile.

Although he didn't know what had happened, Su Xiaoliu was still in Gu Rongxue's room in the middle of the night... He felt a bit uncomfortable in his heart.

"Thank you so much, Divine Doctor." Tang Yuyan stood up and bowed slightly to Chu Weixin.

Chu Weixin hooked his lips into a smile and said, "It's nothing."

Chang He could no longer stand still. He glanced at Gu Rongxue on the bed and then at Su Xiaoliu, and shook his head.

"I'm going back." Su Xiaoliu suddenly stood up from the flower cage stool, lowered her head and rushed out of the door in a hurry.

Zhong Fengyue quietly looked at the half-open door. Under his white gauze hat, his rosy diamond-shaped lips were gently pursed.

"Not here..." Su Xiaoliu rummaged through her bag.

Then she turned around and rummaged through her clothes, muttering, "It's not here either..."

After that, she rummaged through the bed.

Su Xiaoliu searched the room back and forth several times but still couldn't find that silver hairpin.

Su Xiaoliu slumped against the bedside dejectedly, with her head hanging down.

If that silver hairpin was lost, everything related to it would be lost...

Su Xiaoliu squatted down stubbornly and looked under the bed. At this time, the door was pushed open.

As soon as Zhong Fengyue entered the room, he saw Su Xiaoliu lying on the ground. He was stunned for a moment, then hooked the corner of his mouth and said with a smile, "Did you lose something?"

Su Xiaoliu paused for a moment, then quickly stood up, patted the dust on her body, and turned around.

Zhong Fengyue was dressed in spotless white clothes. He had a tall and slender figure, holding the celestial sword with green and silver all over in his hand. He was wearing white long boots embroidered with gold trim. Half of his inky hair was tied up with a silver crown, and the rest was casually draped over his waist.

Su Xiaoliu looked into his eyes behind the white gauze hat, thought for a while, and nodded, saying, "I seem to have left it there, but it should still be on me. I'll look for it when I have a chance."

Zhong Fengyue nodded and didn't ask any more questions. Looking at her, he curved his lips into a smile and said, "Madam Xiao and the others are already waiting downstairs."

Su Xiaoliu remembered that they were going to the Lonely Family Villa, Gu Rongxue's home, today. She quickly packed up her things, grabbed her bag and pulled Zhong Fengyue downstairs.

Zhong Fengyue let her pull him until they reached downstairs. Downstairs, Jiang Li and the others were already waiting there.

Su Xiaoliu saw Gu Rongxue in a gorgeous purple robe. Gu Rongxue also noticed her. Both of them were stunned for a moment. Su Xiaoliu blushed a bit and turned her head away, pretending not to see. Gu Rongxue lowered his eyes disappointedly.

Wei Feng hired six carriages. Su Xiaoliu and Chu Weixin were in one carriage, Zhong Fengyue and Mo Xin were in one, Gu Rongxue, the Ancient Immortal Elder and Gu Ran were in one, Jiang Li and Duanmu You were in one, Wei Feng, Tang Yuyan and Cang Luoyao were in one, and Chang He was in one by himself.

"What a strange guy. He doesn't know how to save money." Su Xiaoliu looked at Chang He getting into the carriage angrily and murmured.

Chang He paused for a moment, stood on the carriage and looked back at her. As soon as Su Xiaoliu met those cold eagle-like eyes, she instantly put on an innocent smile and waved to him.

Chang He said nothing. After looking at her for a while, he bent down and got into the carriage.

"If so many carriages travel together, we'll be suspected. So, we'll take three different small paths and meet at the first inn in Jiangnan Town. Then we'll go to the Lonely Family Villa together. The carriages will take about two days. We can stay overnight in some small towns at night. If there's any problem, there will be new carriages to pick us up soon, and we can continue our journey." Wei Feng got into the carriage and said to the others.

There were spare carriages at every place. The coachmen were all Wei Feng's own people. Even if they met some secret guards blocking the way, they would find a way to get through. Wei Feng had taken very careful precautions in this regard.

"We'll take the upper path." Jiang Li exchanged a look with Gu Rongxue, then said to Wei Feng.

Wei Feng glanced at Chang He. Chang He replied briefly, "The middle path."

"Then we'll take the lower path." Mo Xin nodded and looked at Chu Weixin.

Chu Weixin was grabbing Su Xiaoliu's collar. Su Xiaoliu waved her hands angrily and shouted, "I can walk by myself. Don't grab me!"

Chu Weixin chuckled and ignored her protest. He directly threw her into the carriage.

Zhong Fengyue looked at Chu Weixin, and the smile on his lips faded a bit.

"Let's get in the carriage too." Mo Xin looked up at Zhong Fengyue.

Zhong Fengyue looked down at Mo Xin, smiled faintly, and nodded.

The six carriages separated at the three fork roads ahead and drove two by two, one in front of the other.

The carriage kept bumping. Su Xiaoliu sat in the carriage and looked out of the window. Chu Weixin was sitting opposite her, holding a sword in his arms with his eyes closed.

It was all the suburbs, and the scenery on the road was almost the same. After looking for a while, Su Xiaoliu got bored. She withdrew her gaze, sat up straight. Since there was nothing interesting to look at outside, she could only look at Chu Weixin's face which was even more beautiful than a woman's. Although Su Xiaoliu was reluctant, she had no choice but to look.

"What, am I more beautiful than the scenery?" Chu Weixin slowly opened his eyes and smiled.

Su Xiaoliu rolled her eyes in her heart. This man was really shameless.

"Yes, you're more beautiful than the scenery." Su Xiaoliu drawled. Under Chu Weixin's delighted gaze, she slowly added, "I just saw the butt of a sheep by accident. Then when I looked back at your face, it's really much more beautiful."

The smile on Chu Weixin's face cracked a bit. His cold eyes looked at Su Xiaoliu and he said softly, "You still owe me two hundred silver ingots. Don't forget... Su Xiaoliu."
