Lu Luochen didn't know how to mend their relationship. Forget it. He'd just keep an eye on Jing Anyu. If that man did anything to Wen Sining, he'd be able to deal with it.
Wen Sining got home from work. She'd planned to cook a meal today. But when she opened the fridge, she found only some instant food in it. So she closed the fridge door, changed her shoes and went out to the nearby supermarket to buy some groceries.
Since the supermarket was quite close to the community, she just walked there. After buying some vegetables, she came back to cook. It was a rare occasion for her to cook.
After a while, she prepared two dishes and a soup for herself.
While she was having her meal, her phone lying beside her rang. She picked it up and saw that it was a call from Jing Anyu. She put it on speaker.
"Brother Anyu."
"Yeah. What are you doing?" Jing Anyu asked from the other end of the phone.
"Having dinner. Have you eaten yet?" Wen Sining answered while eating.
"If I said I haven't, would you invite me over?" Jing Anyu said deliberately.
Wen Sining didn't know how to respond for a moment. Jing Anyu on the other end of the phone let out a soft laugh. "Okay. I'm just joking. Are you free tomorrow? I'd like to have a meal with you."
"Sure, but it'll have to be after work." There was a lot to do in the company recently, so she was only free after work.
"I'll send you the location then." Jing Anyu said.
Wen Sining agreed. Seeing that she was still having dinner, Jing Anyu hung up.
After dinner, Wen Sining lay in bed thinking about what Lu Luochen had said today. Although she'd said she didn't believe him, there was no smoke without fire. She had some doubts about Jing Anyu.

Wen Sining realized that the man she was referring to must be Jing Anyu. It seemed that Feng Jingcheng had also attended that banquet, but she hadn't noticed him.
"You mean Jing Anyu. He's my childhood neighbor. But he went abroad after junior high school and just came back now." Wen Sining explained Jing Anyu's identity.
Qiao Xi nodded. She looked at Wen Sining with a strange look in her eyes. "This Jing Anyu came back at just the right time. You and Lu Luochen are having problems. Is he after you?"
As soon as she finished speaking, Wen Sining knocked on her forehead. "What are you thinking? He's like a brother to me. He'd never have such thoughts."
Qiao Xi didn't look convinced, but Wen Sining didn't want to argue with her about this anymore.
"So what about you and Lu Luochen now? You can't keep this way forever, right?" Qiao Xi asked. She knew that their relationship hadn't been mended yet.
This question gave Wen Sining a headache. She didn't know how to handle her relationship with Lu Luochen either. She'd already sent him the divorce agreement, but he stubbornly refused to divorce. At the same time, he was still entangled with Yun Chuchu. Wen Sining had no idea what he was thinking.
"I don't know either." Just then, Wen Sining's coffee was served. She took a sip. In fact, she was quite conflicted now.
