chapter 11 I Just Don't Want to Leave You

An Ke thought to herself that it wasn't that she really wanted to leave him. She was just too scared, no longer dared to trust him, and hated him so much.

After He Ting came out of An Ke's room, he didn't go back to his own room but walked into the garden. He sat on a bench in the garden and recalled An Ke's love for him in the past. Instantly, a deep sense of remorse welled up in his heart. If I hadn't tried to kill An Ke back then, things between us wouldn't have turned out this way. His eyes were filled with regret and heartache.

He loved An Ke, deeply and truly. But he knew that An Ke wouldn't accept him now. He was extremely afraid that An Ke would leave him.

That night, neither of them slept a wink, lost in thoughts about the past, the present, and the future.

The next morning, they woke up as if nothing had happened and didn't say a word to each other.

But when An Ke saw He Ting's bloodshot eyes, she felt an indescribable feeling in her heart.

Days at the He Mansion passed by one after another, and An Ke still couldn't come up with a way to escape.

During this period, An Ke and He Ting hardly talked to each other. However, He Ting often got distracted at work. Yuan Ping noticed this many times but could do nothing but sigh silently.

"Prepare some fireworks for me," He Ting said to Yuan Ping before getting off work one day. Yuan Ping couldn't figure out why but didn't dare to say anything.

"Okay."

"Set up these fireworks around An Ting Mountain," He Ting said as he looked up in the direction of An Ting Mountain. He had bought that mountain as a birthday gift for An Ke when they were together. The name of the mountain was also a combination of their names.

Hearing this, even a fool like Yuan Ping would understand. He wanted the fireworks for that woman An Ke, and his melancholy during this period was also because of her. Thinking of this, he couldn't help but sigh.

"Okay."

On his way home, He Ting passed by a flower shop. After a moment's thought, he stopped the car and walked into the shop.

"Welcome!" The receptionist at the door greeted him with a sweet smile. When they saw He Ting, blushes appeared on their faces.

He Ting ignored them and walked straight into the shop.

"Ah! It's Young Master He! He's so handsome! Why is he in a flower shop? Is he buying flowers for his girlfriend?" Girl A exclaimed.

"Really! He's so handsome! Doesn't Young Master He have a wife? He must be buying flowers for his wife."

The receptionists all sighed when they said this.

He Ting walked into the flower shop and immediately set his eyes on a bunch of Blue Enchantress roses. He remembered that An Ke's favorite flower was the Blue Enchantress, not only because of its beauty but also because of its floral meaning. He thought An Ke would definitely like it. Then he smiled.

This smile made the flower shop owner's wife lose her composure for a moment. She walked over.

"Young Master He has really good taste. The girl who receives these flowers must be very happy," the owner's wife said with a smile.

He Ting didn't say a word. He just thought to himself: I hope she'll really be happy.

"Wrap them up for me," He Ting said as he handed the bunch of flowers to the owner's wife.

The owner's wife took the flowers and started to wrap them carefully. He Ting paid by card and left.

The owner's wife watched He Ting leave and murmured, "That girl is really lucky to receive flowers from Young Master He. Young Master He is just as handsome and cold as the pictures on the Internet."

An Ke was watching TV in the living room when He Ting suddenly presented a bunch of Blue Enchantress roses to her. It was impossible for An Ke not to be happy when she saw the flowers. She was not only happy but also surprised.

She was happy because she received her favorite Blue Enchantress on her birthday. She was surprised because He Ting, who hadn't said a word to her for so long, would send her flowers.

"Here you are, An An. Happy birthday," He Ting said.

"Thank you," An Ke looked up at him and took the flowers from his hand.

"Come with me. I'll take you somewhere," He Ting said as he walked out of the door. An Ke followed him from behind.

In the car, An Ke looked at the scenery along the way and always felt that it was familiar. Suddenly, the words "An Ting Mountain" popped into her mind. She looked at He Ting, but his face showed no expression, so she turned her head back.

The car stopped. Yes, it was An Ting Mountain, the one He Ting had given her as a birthday gift.

"An An, this is our An Ting Mountain," He Ting said.

An Ke didn't say a word.

"An An, let's go to the top of the mountain together," He Ting said as he tried to reach out his hand to hold An Ke's. An Ke pretended not to see and walked up the mountain on her own.

For An Ke, who was a special agent, climbing such a mountain was no problem at all.

He Ting felt a little disappointed when he saw An Ke walking up on her own, but he still quickly followed.

As An Ke and He Ting slowly climbed to the top of the mountain, the sky became darker and darker. He Ting turned on his flashlight to illuminate the path in front of An Ke.

After reaching the top of the mountain, He Ting sent a text message to signal Yuan Ping to set off the fireworks.

"An An, look at the sky," He Ting said.

An Ke looked up at the sky. Colorful fireworks bloomed in the air, and each firework was in the shape of a heart. The colors were also diverse, including bright red, pink, yellow... All these colorful fireworks gathered together, looking extremely beautiful.

Looking at such a beautiful scenery, An Ke couldn't help but smile.

"An An, look over there," He Ting pointed to the right side of the mountain.

An Ke looked over and saw a private helicopter flying towards them. Yes! This was the perfect opportunity to escape.

An Ke stared straight at the helicopter. When the helicopter was close to the ground, An Ke jumped into it, knocked out the pilot, and took control of the helicopter herself.

He Ting was a little caught off guard, but he immediately jumped into the helicopter to stop An Ke from flying away.

"He Ting, let go of me," An Ke said angrily, looking at He Ting.

"I won't let go. If I do, you'll run away, and I don't know when I'll be able to see you again," He Ting said.

An Ke had no choice but to fight with He Ting because of his stubbornness. As a special agent, An Ke was very good at fighting, and she always attacked his elbows, knees and other parts.

He Ting didn't dare to fight back because he was afraid of hurting An Ke, so he could only let himself get beaten black and blue.

"An An! The helicopter is going to crash!" He Ting shouted.

An Ke looked out of the window. It was a forest. It seemed that they had crashed into the forest.

"It's all your fault. If you hadn't stopped me, we wouldn't have crashed into this forest," An Ke said coldly, looking at him.

"I just don't want to leave you."

An Ke ignored him. With a loud noise, the helicopter crashed to the ground.

Due to the impact, An Ke's head hit the iron plate of the helicopter, and a lot of blood came out.

"An An!" He Ting rushed to An Ke's side anxiously.
