Chapter 78 An Unreasonable Demand

An Ke never expected He Ting to make such an unreasonable demand. Did he want to humiliate her or was he just reluctant to give up the bid?

"You can make other demands. We've already broken up. Why do you have to force me like this?" An Ke stared at He Ting with hatred all over her face, regarding him as her mortal enemy.

He Ting sat directly beside An Ke. His long and slender fingers rested on her shoulder as he kept getting closer. His rapid breaths brushed against An Ke's neck. "It doesn't matter to me whether you agree or not."

An Ke blushed and her heart raced before she could even react. She was completely flustered by He Ting's ambiguous actions.

Seeing An Ke's shy look, He Ting couldn't help but kiss her cheek, neck and lips.

An Ke was completely dazed by this sudden kiss, but she knew it was just He Ting's teasing. Just like three years ago, she wouldn't be tempted.

"I'll agree to spend a night with you. Will you then give up the bid?" An Ke gritted her teeth and said word by word.

He Ting was interrupted in his next move. Although An Ke had agreed to him, it was in such a way that he suddenly lost all interest and felt inexplicably sour for approaching An Ke in such a manner.

"Would you agree to such a demand from anyone else just for a contract?" He Ting roared hysterically at An Ke. An Ke endured the tears and pretended to be strong.

An Ke looked at He Ting with a disdainful look again, and He Ting stared back at her. It seemed as if time had stood still between them.

"Yes. If anyone else made such a demand, I'd satisfy them. Are you satisfied now?" An Ke's words stabbed He Ting's heart one by one.

He Ting instantly felt that the person in his heart had changed a lot. Had he hurt her too deeply? Had he abandoned An Ke when she most needed his support and also...

"I hope you'll keep your promise." An Ke left these few words and then turned around and left. He Ting sat there, feeling the lingering warmth left by An Ke.

He Ting could only feel dejected when An Ke was out of sight. He recalled the happy times they had once shared, every little bit of it replaying in his mind.

After An Ke got back, she lay on the bed to heal her own wounds. Once she thought about things related to He Ting, her emotions would get out of control. He Ting's kiss had been so real, and so had he, but they could never go back to the past.

It was not only the explosion three years ago, but also He Ting's demand today. She never expected He Ting to make such a demand, and she had actually agreed in a daze.

"Damn He Ting..."

He Ting didn't really mean to make things so difficult for An Ke. He just wanted to get closer to her. He never thought things would turn out like this. An Ke must hate him to the core now.

An Ke was still reluctant, which was evident in every aspect. He Ting felt a sudden urge to laugh when he saw An Ke dawdling in the car.

An Ke probably didn't know that he had already decided to give up this bidding opportunity because he couldn't bear to see An Ke sad.

But An Ke didn't know. She didn't expect time to pass so quickly. It seemed like she had just agreed to that villain He Ting, and now it was already getting dark.

An Ke had an urge to run away, but with He Ting watching her, she had to put on a brave face.

"Are you scared and want to back out, An Ke?" He Ting deliberately goaded An Ke, not wanting her to leave.

Sure enough, An Ke got out of the car with a calm and proud look on her face. She walked past He Ting disdainfully and slowly walked forward. He Ting smiled faintly behind her.

"Where are you going? Are you going to back out?" He Ting asked, looking at An Ke's back.

An Ke instantly got angry. She immediately turned around and stared at He Ting. Her eyes were fixed on him fiercely, as if she wanted to bore a hole through him. She walked towards He Ting angrily.

"Who's going to back out? He Ting, why are you so talkative? I just want to get this over with quickly so that I can go home tonight!"

An Ke deliberately mocked He Ting, but He Ting wasn't angry. In his heart, the fact that An Ke could talk to him like this meant that she wasn't really that angry.

He Ting thought this way, but he didn't show it on his face. "But you're going in the wrong direction. My villa is over there, not where you're going. So I thought you were trying to leave!"

An Ke looked at the direction He Ting was pointing at and thought she must have looked really ridiculous today. That bastard He Ting.

An Ke cursed He Ting in her heart, but she still obediently walked in the direction He Ting was pointing at. He Ting followed closely behind her, his eyes constantly sizing up her back.

An Ke felt extremely uncomfortable and could only quicken her pace.

When they finally reached the front of He Ting's villa, An Ke was a bit stunned. This wasn't in line with her original plan. She had originally intended to stall for time.

But... it was all He Ting's fault. He was really calculating. An Ke thought He Ting must have seen through her little plan...

An Ke didn't know whether she should take a step forward, but He Ting wasn't as patient as before. He grabbed An Ke and pulled her in.

An Ke couldn't break free and had to follow He Ting in. She felt a bit sad in her heart. She had once offered herself to He Ting's bed in order to defeat Jiang Zekai. Now she was just doing the same thing again.

Thinking of this, An Ke felt that she could accept it a bit more. He Ting led An Ke into a dark room. An Ke didn't know what He Ting was thinking.

Although she couldn't see, she could still feel that He Ting had left and gone to another part of the room.

An Ke thought it would be better for her to take the initiative. While enduring the uncomfortable feeling in her heart, she started to take off her clothes.

He Ting didn't expect this. After he had arranged everything, he quietly stood behind An Ke without going forward, so he didn't know that An Ke was almost naked.

Just as An Ke was taking off her clothes, she suddenly felt the lights come on. She immediately closed her eyes with a look of resignation.

As soon as the lights came on, He Ting noticed An Ke's current state. He felt that all his well - laid plans had failed in the face of An Ke's body.

He Ting suppressed his desire for An Ke and walked towards her angrily. He bent down and picked up An Ke's clothes.

An Ke felt He Ting put her clothes back on her. She opened her eyes and looked at He Ting in surprise.

"Is this what you think of me?" An Ke was speechless for a moment when He Ting asked her this question. She felt that she might have misunderstood He Ting's intention.

But it was his fault for saying that he wanted her to spend a night with him before. Anyone would have thought wrongly. It wasn't her fault.
