Chapter 6: The Young Master from a Wealthy Family Is Picky Eater

"Umm, my mother asked you to go out for dinner. You..." Seeing Shu Yao frowning and sitting still in the bathtub, Xu Yi thought he was still brooding over what had just happened, and his heart tightened involuntarily.

If he became vigilant now, it would be difficult to carry out his plan later.

Unexpectedly, Shu Yao just replied with a faint "oh" and stood up naked from the bathtub.

Xu Yi struggled hard to prevent his nosebleed from gushing out.

It was simply... too stimulating. Didn't this guy have any sense of shame? Although they were both men, wasn't he afraid that Xu Yi might not be able to resist making a move on him?

"Who are you?" Shu Yao stepped out of the bathtub in front of him, picked up the clothes beside, wiped himself casually and then draped them over his body.

He remembered that there were no men in Aunt Li's family.

Xu Yi covered his nose and stammered, "I, I'm Aunt Li's son, Xu Yi. I, I just got back from work." Actually, he had just returned after getting beaten up.

"I see..." Shu Yao sized him up casually for a couple of seconds and then stopped looking at him. He changed his clothes right in front of Xu Yi and then walked out calmly.

Shu Yao frowned and subconsciously tightened his clothes.

For some reason, this man's look always made him feel uncomfortable...

"Hey, what's your name?" Xu Yi didn't dare to take his hand away. He was afraid that once he did, the nosebleed would gush out. After all, that figure was really too alluring.

"Shu Yao." Shu Yao replied indifferently.

"Shu Yao... Shu Yao. What a nice name." Xu Yi repeated the name a few times in his mouth and finally showed a sly smile.

The deliberate flattery made Shu Yao feel uncomfortable, and he ignored this strange guy.

After Aunt Li finished cooking, she went to Shu Yao's room to feed the baby. After feeding, she happened to bump into Shu Yao who was walking out.

"I've fed the baby. I guess you're hungry too. Come with me."

Shu Yao followed Aunt Li closely. Before leaving, he glanced at the baby lying in the room. The baby seemed to sense his gaze and turned his head to smile at him.

This made him feel relieved. Fortunately, Aunt Li had fed the baby. Otherwise, he would cry his heart out again in a while.

When they reached the dining room, Shu Yao found that Xu Yi was already waiting there.

The table was small, and he didn't want to sit next to this weird guy.

Xu Yi spotted Shu Yao and waved to him enthusiastically, "Come on, Shu Yao. Sit here." Then he patted the stool very attentively.

Shu Yao: "..." They had only known each other for less than a moment. Was it necessary to be so enthusiastic about him?

Shu Yao was at a loss. There were three stools in front of the table. Why did he have to sit next to this guy?

Aunt Li noticed that he hadn't moved for a long time and called out to him, "Young master?"

Shu Yao came back to his senses. Seeing the confusion in Aunt Li's eyes, he immediately dispelled his thoughts and forced himself to walk up to Xu Yi. Facing his greedy gaze, he slowly sat down.

Xu Yi smiled satisfactorily, thinking that when in Rome, do as the Romans do. No matter how much of a beauty this guy was, once he was in Xu Yi's territory, he had to follow his orders.

The reason why Shu Yao sat next to him was that he didn't want to disappoint Aunt Li's kindness. In this unfamiliar place, only Aunt Li was willing to take them in and feed both him and his son. It would be very impolite if he showed his dissatisfaction with her son in front of Aunt Li.

"Do you like the food?" Aunt Li asked.

"Delicious." He told the truth. Aunt Li's cooking skills were really excellent, except for those plates of green vegetables.

"Then eat more if you like it." Guests should be treated well. Although this guest's behavior was a bit strange, they mustn't lose their courtesy. Seeing that Shu Yao was picking at his food, Aunt Li thought he was being reserved, so she personally picked a few pieces of meat and put them in his bowl.

"Th, thank you." It had been a long time since he last said this word, and he felt a bit uncomfortable saying it now.

"Come on, eat more of this." Xu Yi next to him was even more enthusiastic than Aunt Li opposite. He kept picking vegetables and putting them in Shu Yao's bowl, and they were all vegetarian dishes.

Shu Yao lost his appetite at first sight and picked all the vegetables back into his bowl.

He, Shu Yao, might be immoral, but he couldn't eat the corpses of his own kind. It was okay to eat meat, after all, they were of different species, and he didn't have to suffer from a guilty conscience.

Looking at the high - piled vegetarian dishes in his bowl, Xu Yi thought to himself: Could it be that the beauty didn't like vegetarian food? Usually, people like this celestial being didn't like big fish and meat. Why was it different for this beauty?

So he picked a lot of meat and put it in Shu Yao's bowl to see if he really liked meat as he had imagined.

All the meat on the plate was picked into Shu Yao's bowl. Aunt Li didn't even get a chance to eat any. Looking at the mountain of meat in Shu Yao's bowl, Aunt Li embarrassedly withdrew her chopsticks from the plate.

This useless boy only cared about the outsider and didn't even think about his own mother. He was really an ungrateful son!

Aunt Li secretly gave Xu Yi a look and put down her chopsticks to show her dissatisfaction.

Shu Yao caught this subtle movement. Combining it with Aunt Li's look at his bowl just now, he knew what Aunt Li was thinking.

It was all the fault of this guy next to him who was trying to curry favor. Aunt Li didn't even get a single bite of meat.

So Shu Yao took advantage of the meat in his bowl and transferred all of Xu Yi's kindness to Aunt Li. He stood up, and with a lift and a drop of his chopsticks and bowl, all the meat ended up in Aunt Li's bowl.

Aunt Li was stunned for a moment. Looking at the meat in her bowl, she didn't know what to say.

Could it be that Shu Yao had seen through her thoughts and did this on purpose? Where could she put her old face?

Aunt Li forced a smile and said "thank you" rather unnaturally.

Shu Yao's behavior was too abnormal to be judged by common sense. At this point, she could only accept his kindness... After all, it was all her useless son's fault. He always did stupid things and made everyone feel awkward.

Aunt Li sighed softly and absent - mindedly ate a piece of meat.

Xu Yi widened his eyes. He was just about to scold Shu Yao when he was glared back by Aunt Li's omnipresent gaze.

Xu Yi held his anger back, shoveled the food into his mouth fiercely, swallowed a couple of mouthfuls and said he was full. He slammed down his chopsticks and rushed out aggressively.

Aunt Li murmured "useless" to herself and then put on a kind smile and said to Shu Yao, "That rebellious son is just like this. Don't take it to heart."

Shu Yao shook his head. He was even glad about it. How could he take it to heart?

"Why don't you like to eat vegetables?" Aunt Li was a bit curious when she saw that Shu Yao would rather pick at the few meat scraps in his bowl than eat a single bite of vegetables.

Shu Yao looked up, blinked his eyes and said, "I just don't like them by nature. I can eat meat though."

Aunt Li nodded silently, having a better understanding in her heart.

It seemed that he was really a young master from a wealthy family. Otherwise, he wouldn't be so picky about his food.
