In my previous book, I wrote about workplace bullying in the entertainment industry, campus bullying, the original family, and human trafficking. These were the main themes of my previous book, told through the experiences of different people.
I used the same method in this book. I wrote about the phenomenon of son preference in the original family (Xie Xinxin), and the redemption of stray pets (Tang Xingwei). There was originally a story about making choices (Song Wanyue), but since the book ended earlier than planned, I couldn't write Song Wanyue's story in detail in the main text. So, it will be shown in the extra chapter.
Let me tell you a little secret that's not really a secret. Among the many characters in this book, one character's story is based on a real - life prototype, and that prototype is myself. In the epilogue of my previous book, I wrote about my illness. Annoyingly, when I was halfway through writing this book, my illness relapsed. I had to go to the hospital every weekend, so I often didn't update on time or only updated a little on weekends because I would be in a bad mood for half a day after coming back from the hospital.
I plan to take a break and start planning my new book when I'm feeling better.
