An Ruo called out several times, looking up at him intently with her little head tilted.
"What's up?" Bo Jingyu came back to his senses and replied gently.
"Sister's awake."
He immediately turned his gaze to Tian Danni to check.
"Water..."
She managed to squeeze out a word weakly from her lips.
Bo Jingyu first pressed the nurse call button by the bedside. Then he removed her oxygen mask and moistened her lips gently with a cotton swab dipped in water.
Tian Danni greedily licked her lips, as if she had just encountered a timely rain after a long drought.
