Chapter 7 A Deal

Wanwan was turned over completely. His cheek was pressed against the mattress beneath him, and the tears that flowed out wet the fabric. Sheng Jiu looked at the red marks on his thigh from being pinched. His eyes were severely bloodshot, quickly reddening the eye sockets and making his expression look a bit crazy. Wanwan's ears were pressed, and he could only hear the beating of his own heart. Sheng Jiu rubbed his forehead against Wanwan's cheek, and his deep voice was a bit hoarse. "Do you think only the Crown Prince has you in his heart? The night he brought you back, I saw you. I used to think of you only as a dream of mine, but now the dream has ended. Although you're by my side, your heart still belongs to the Crown Prince."

"You two have a deep affection for each other, but you only bring me pain. This isn't fair..."

"Since I can't have you, then let's all three live in hell together."

Sheng Jiu got up neatly, pulled over his clothes and roughly covered Wanwan with them. "Come here."

Ming Lang pushed the door open and came in. It seemed that he had been waiting outside all the time. "Your Majesty."

Sheng Jiu crossed his legs and said lazily, "Go and bring my dear Crown Prince back for me."

Ming Lang was stunned after hearing this. He slightly raised his eyes and took a quick look at the situation on the bed. He understood in his heart. Although he understood, he couldn't help but sigh.

The Emperor was becoming more and more irrational.

Ming Lang turned around and went out. Wanwan seemed to sense something. He grabbed Sheng Jiu's clothes and said, "Don't call him here."

How could he let Sheng Jue see him in this naked state.

Sheng Jiu glanced at the hand that was grabbing his clothes. His long eyelashes covered the deepness in his eyes. He sneered. "What? Afraid he'll see? What are you afraid of? Don't be afraid. Maybe my Crown Prince would like to see you like this. He must like it very much."

Wanwan knew he didn't have the ability to change Sheng Jiu's mind. He could only plead with him in a low voice. "Then, can you give me a piece of clothing?"

Sheng Jiu seemed a bit impatient from being grabbed. He pulled out his arm and looked at him coldly. "Do you want to act pure and innocent in front of him? Let me tell you, even if Sheng Jue comes back now and takes the throne again, he won't want you. Do you know why? Because he thinks you've already slept with me. In his heart, you're no longer pure."

Wanwan sat in front of him, covering his skin with the thin clothes Sheng Jiu gave him. His fair and slender upper body was bare in the air. He slightly lowered his head, looking extremely aggrieved. Any man would be touched looking at him, but Sheng Jiu was different. He thought Wanwan was sad because he couldn't maintain a perfect image in Sheng Jue's heart.

Wanwan bit his lower lip. His voice was so soft that it was almost inaudible. "The two of us aren't what you think. We're not..."

Sheng Jiu scoffed. "Don't tell me he saved you back just because he was soft - hearted and had no feelings for you at all."

He turned his head and lifted Wanwan's chin, looking down at him. "Do you think anyone would believe this if you said it?"

Wanwan frowned and stopped talking. A voice came from outside. "Your Majesty, the person has been brought here. Shall we bring him in now?"

Sheng Jiu smiled at Wanwan, then turned his head and shouted, "Come in."

Looking at the increasingly nervous expression of the little mermaid, he felt an indescribable sense of pleasure in his heart. He couldn't wait to see Sheng Jue's expression after he came in. If he saw this scene, would he go crazy? Would he want to kill him?

Sheng Jiu smiled happily. He glanced at Wanwan out of the corner of his eye, then suddenly showed an extremely brilliant smile and gently asked, "Do you think after he comes in and sees you on my bed with a pair of legs, will he be more happy, more surprised or more angry?"

Wanwan almost buried his head in his chest. Sheng Jue was suffering in the prison while he was entangled with his younger brother in the bed. How could he face his savior?

"Please let us go."

His voice was much hoarser, as if he had been pushed to despair.

The sound of chains came. Wanwan instinctively wanted to dodge, but his legs were still numb and he had no strength. He tried to dodge inside the bed but failed. His body slumped softly onto Sheng Jiu. Sheng Jiu took the opportunity to hug him. The tender words in his mouth seemed to be said to Sheng Jue.

"My concubine, there are still others. Why are you in such a hurry?"

Concubine?

Sheng Jue's dead - like eyes moved. When he saw the scene on the bed, he opened his mouth in surprise. He looked at the empty pool and then at the small body nestled in Sheng Jiu's arms. For a moment, he didn't know what he was feeling. He should have thought earlier that the winner takes all... Once Wanwan fell into his hands, there would be no good outcome. But when he really saw this scene, he suddenly realized that what he had lost was not just the throne.

He didn't want Wanwan to notice his strangeness. He could only try his best to calm himself down, but his voice was a bit trembling when he spoke.

"Wanwan, you have legs."

Wanwan poked his head out from Sheng Jiu's embrace and looked at him. His expression was indescribably embarrassed. He nodded silently. Wanwan didn't know how to tell him that the thing he asked him to do had failed. He glanced at the dagger that had fallen on the bed, and a look of guilt appeared on his face.

Sheng Jue followed his gaze. His expression stiffened for a moment, then he raised his eyes and just met Sheng Jiu's smiling eyes. His expression was so cold that it was a bit scary. Sheng Jue was speechless for a moment. He knew it was risky to let Wanwan do this, but he had no other choice. At that time, the only things he could think of were Wanwan and the dagger in the secret compartment.

Sheng Jiu reached out and picked up the dagger. He said lightly, "Is the Crown Prince looking at this?"

Sheng Jiu played with the dagger in his hand as if nothing had happened. He slowly said, "If I remember correctly, this thing should belong to the Crown Prince, right? How did it get taken out?"

Sheng Jue swallowed hard. He lowered his eyes and replied, "I asked him to do this. It has nothing to do with him. If you want to target someone, come at me."

Sheng Jiu got out of bed bare - footed. A cold glint flashed in his eyes. "Such clichés. Sheng Jue, I wanted to spare your life, but you don't want to live. Since you don't value your own life, I might as well grant your wish."

"Don't!!"

A cry came from the bed, followed by the sound of something heavy rolling off the bed. Sheng Jiu moved his body but didn't turn to look at him. Wanwan grabbed his leg and looked up at him. "Don't kill him. I'll agree to anything you want me to do. Please spare him."

"Wanwan, don't agree to him!! You'll regret it!"
