Yi Pin tightened his grip on Shen Yu's hands and frowned slightly.
"I told you not to interfere. Why make things so difficult for everyone?"
The woman let out a cold laugh and took a step closer menacingly.
Zi Qi's hands trembled as she spoke nervously, "Mom!"
The weak voice pierced Yi Pin's heart.
It seemed that children were always innocent. It was the adults who became worldly, who didn't know how to control themselves, and who were indifferent to human feelings.
The scene in front of him made Shen Yu take a sharp breath and frown.
"Who's your mom?" the woman said coldly.
Then came the sound of a chain being whipped. It seemed to be aimed at Yi Pin's arm. Seeing this, Shen Yu quickly reached out his own hand.
He always seemed to instinctively want to protect Yi Pin.
"Heh, you two are really touching!"
The woman spoke with a laugh, but her face was full of murderous intent as she stared menacingly at Zi Qi in front of her.
The man stepped forward and wiped his knife with both hands.
The bright glint of the knife reflected over, making Yi Pin's eyes flicker.
Shen Yu glanced at Yi Pin, and they nodded understandingly at each other.
Then Yi Pin kicked a chair over.
The kicked - over chair tripped the woman, and she fell to the ground.
The man then walked over slowly with the knife in his hand. Yi Pin and Shen Yu quickly stepped forward and surrounded the man. The three of them grappled with each other.
Yi Pin and Shen Yu were fairly good at fighting, and they managed to subdue the man.
The man lay on the ground, unable to move.
But somehow, the woman had already locked the chain around Zi Qi's neck.
"Zi Qi!"
Yi Pin frowned and spoke nervously.
Then came the sound of the child gasping for breath.
The woman had a sneer on her lips. Frowning, she said coldly, "You little brat, I gave you your life. Can't I mess with you a few times?"
With a cold laugh, she tightened the chain around Zi Qi's neck a bit more.
"Don't move. Both of you stand up, or I'll kill him!"
The woman roared, with a smile on her lips.
Yi Pin and Shen Yu glanced at each other, then both raised their hands and slowly stood up.
The man got up from the ground and swept Yi Pin's legs with a kick. Yi Pin was knocked to the ground.
"Don't touch him!"
Shen Yu roared coldly. His voice was so sharp that it seemed to be able to intimidate people. The two of them were startled and stood still for a moment.
Shen Yu bent down and helped Yi Pin up.
The man, however, curled his lips into a smile. He stood up, picked up the knife at hand, and slashed at Yi Pin.
Shen Yu quickly rushed over, but his arm was stabbed by the man.
Blood dripped down drop by drop.
Yi Pin turned around and saw this scene. His eyes were a bit blurred.
"Shen Yu!"
Then he saw the woman push the child away and smash the chain at Yi Pin.
Shen Yu blocked it for Yi Pin again, but the wounds on his chest became more and more obvious.
His clothes were torn by the chain, and his skin was lacerated. Looking at the wounds, Yi Pin frowned, and tears welled up in his eyes.
"I've already said don't touch him!"
Shen Yu said coldly, frowning and glaring at the two people in front of him.
Yi Pin was so shocked that he stood still. Looking at Shen Yu's back, he suddenly felt a sense of uneasiness.
"You won't live long anyway. This knife is smeared with poison. No one is going to get out of here today!"
The man sneered coldly, with a smile on his lips.
Looking at Shen Yu, whose face was pale and covered in cold sweat, Yi Pin was a bit panicked.
He suddenly slapped the ground and almost rushed over angrily. He threw the man over his shoulder to the ground, then stepped on the man's hand with one foot and knocked the knife out of his hand.
He punched the man again and again, showing no sign of letting go.

Shen Yu supported his chest and spoke softly. There was a faint glow on his face. He supported his chest with one hand, and his face was deathly pale.
Only then did Yi Pin come to his senses and let go of the man, whose face was bruised and swollen.
The man's face was covered in blood.
Yi Pin kicked the man in the stomach.
Then he saw the woman trying to grab Zi Qi, but Zi Qi had already run behind Shen Yu.
There came the sound of a siren outside, followed by the sound of a police car.
It resounded through the sky.
There was a bustling noise from outside.
The woman was obviously stunned. She stood still and then ran over to shake the man's shoulder.
"Wake up quickly. What should we do? What should we do?"
The woman's cries echoed in the room, and her tears dripped onto the ground.
Yi Pin stood still, protecting Shen Yu and Zi Qi in front of him.
The police soon came up.
Then came the sound of handcuffs clicking. The man and the woman were taken into the police car with handcuffs on.
An ambulance also arrived in time.
Zi Qi was taken to the first ambulance. Yi Pin stayed by Shen Yu's side and got into the ambulance.
Looking at Shen Yu on the stretcher, his face haggard and his lips pale, Yi Pin frowned, and tears flowed down his face involuntarily.
"Are you stupid? Who told you to save me?" Yi Pin scolded Shen Yu, whose eyes were closed. Tears welled up as he spoke.
The nurse and the doctor looked at Yi Pin and patted his shoulder sympathetically.
"It's okay. We will do our best. Everything will be fine!"
But just as the doctor finished speaking, Shen Yu began to twitch and foam at the mouth.
Yi Pin picked up a handkerchief and wiped it bit by bit. Tears also flowed down.
After a while, Shen Yu opened his eyes and said tiredly, "Silly boy, don't cry. You look so ugly!"
Then he forced a smile, which was a bit bitter.
He reached out his hand and wiped the corner of Yi Pin's eye, smiling, "This injury is worth it. It made you cry for me!"

The nurse and the doctor looked at each other without saying a word, but there was a look of shock in their eyes.
