Xu Qingqing came to pick up the two kids from school. As soon as she reached the school gate, she saw the principal leading the security guards clearing a path for a car on the road full of parked cars in front of the school.
A black Lincoln sedan slowly drove over. Xu Qingqing couldn't help but mutter to herself. Who on earth was so influential that the principal had to clear the way just for them to pick up their kids?
It was quite a showy display!
But when the person in the car got out, Xu Qingqing couldn't smile anymore. It was Lu Chuanbai. He was dressed in a black suit, with a straight and imposing figure, long limbs, and a calm, noble face.

"Qingqing, I forgot to tell you. Yiyi and An'an asked me yesterday to pick them up from school." Lu Chuanbai raised his eyebrows and looked at Xu Qingqing.

Lu Chuanbai also happily waved at the two kids and said, "Yiyi, An'an, your mom and I are here!"
The little girl Liang Qiutong standing beside Xu An'an looked at Xu An'an enviously and said, "An'an, it's so nice that your mom and dad come to pick you up together."
"Qiutong, doesn't your dad come to pick you up?" Xu An'an blinked her big watery eyes and asked.
"No. I always have to wait until I'm the only one left. Then my stepmom comes to pick me up."
There was a look of desolation on Liang Qiutong's little face that didn't match her age. But she quickly cheered up and said, "An'an, you should go quickly. Don't keep your mom and dad waiting."
"Okay, bye." Xu An'an looked at Liang Qiutong sympathetically and then threw herself into Xu Qingqing's arms.
"Mom, you and Uncle Lu really came to pick me up!"
"Mom, Uncle Lu!"
The two kids were chattering like little swallows waiting for their mother swallow to come back. Their faces were full of excitement.
"Uncle promised you guys." Lu Chuanbai lovingly rubbed the little heads of Xu Yiyi and Xu An'an. Then, like a magician, he took out two boxes of chocolate candies and gave them to the two kids.

Lu Chuanbai curled his lips into a smile and ate the chocolate.
Xu Qingqing had really taught the two kids well. They were polite and sensible.
"Get in the car. We're going home."
Lu Chuanbai looked at Xu Qingqing's profile as she was concentrating on driving. The two kids were playing in the back seat.
