This fairy did have the pointed ears just as Xia Lin had imagined. His skin was extremely fair, and his facial features were well - defined, which made Xia Lin think of the 3D images of fairies in games on Earth. However, the difference was that this fairy was not dressed as splendidly as those in the games. He was in simple hunter's attire.
His ears twitched. It seemed that he had heard something. Suddenly, he turned his head and looked at Xia Lin and his companion who were just standing beside a thick tree. So when his arrow shot over, Xia Lin simply hid behind the old man.
Lu Saling was much more straightforward. No one knew when he had conjured up a sword. He simply waved it and cut the arrow in two. Lu Saling's swift action made the fairy even more vigilant. "You are humans! What are you doing here? Confess honestly!"
Xia Lin looked at Lu Saling and asked, "What should we do now?"
Lu Saling sneered at the fairy. "Just knock him out!" After saying that, a burst of black mist quickly surrounded the fairy, and the fairy fainted silently.
