The old man's sigh echoed over the entire Lu Mansion.
The clattering sound of footsteps came from the stairs. Wen Sining got up and looked towards the stairs.
Lu Luochen walked straight towards Wen Sining with a menacing look.
"Hey, where are you taking me?" Wen Sining's slender wrist was grabbed by Lu Luochen. Ignoring the surprised looks of others, he dragged her outside the house.
She was flung away and staggered a few steps before regaining her balance.
There were four scratch marks on her slender and fair wrist left by Lu Luochen.

Wen Sining took several steps back and immediately welled up tears, "Grandpa scolded you, but you can't hit me. Look, it's all red!"

Lu Luochen had been standing there all the time. He hadn't moved at all. Impatiently, he tugged at Wen Sining's collar, frowned and lowered his voice, "Have you had enough of this?"
"It was clearly you who wanted to hit me. I'm not stupid enough to just stand there and let you beat me." Wen Sining murmured in a low voice.
Lu Luochen couldn't hear clearly what she said, but he was too lazy to ask further.
"Was it you who informed on me?"
"Inform on you? Inform on what?"
Wen Sining was completely confused. She wiped the tears that were about to fall into her eyes from her forehead and stared back at Lu Luochen, trying to find some flaw in his serious eyes.
"Still pretending?" Lu Luochen angrily picked her up.
Wen Sining wasn't fat at all. Her baggy clothes hid her curvy figure.
"Why are you picking me up? I'm going to fall."
Unable to break free and afraid of falling, Wen Sining had no choice but to wrap her arms around Lu Luochen's neck.
Suddenly feeling the weight, Lu Luochen was distracted for a moment, and his arm suddenly dropped.

With a scream, Wen Sining clamped her legs around Lu Luochen's waist and grabbed his neck tightly with both hands. From the perspective of others, she looked like a monkey hanging on Lu Luochen's body.
The sweet scent surrounded Lu Luochen's nose, and he actually liked it.

There happened to be a small fishpond behind her. After the scuffle between the two, Wen Sining plopped into the fishpond.

This was something Lu Luochen hadn't expected. He reached out his hand. Just as Wen Sining was about to touch it, he quickly retracted it.
"Don't go." Wen Sining shouted loudly.
Thinking of her viciousness hidden behind her innocence, the last bit of guilt in Lu Luochen's heart vanished.
The water in the pond wasn't deep. Wen Sining dragged her heavy body out of the pond. Now she looked like a water ghost, with water dripping from every part of her body.
"Oh, these are the old master's favorite fish."
The maid rushed over, bypassed Wen Sining and squatted in front of the pond. She lovingly picked up the goldfish floating on the water with both hands.

Wen Sining nodded and then shook her head, "I squashed two fish. Will the old master ask me to compensate? Are the fish expensive?"
It took Uncle Bai a while to understand her string of questions. He shook his head helplessly and ordered someone to bring a bath towel and drape it over her.
"The old master does love raising fish, but he won't blame you. Go upstairs and take a shower quickly. If you catch a cold from the cold, he'll feel bad."
Holding the corner of the bath towel, Wen Sining felt relieved. She could feel the old master's care for her. Naturally, she didn't want to destroy his beloved things just a few days after coming to the Lu family.
"After I take a shower later, can you go with me to buy fish that are exactly the same as the ones I squashed?"
"No need. The old master's fish are taken care of regularly by someone. I'll inform them to bring some new varieties when they come next time."
